July 27

This week was a really good week because we got to work a lot!! The week before we had a million other things to do and didnt get to teach and work like we normally would, so it was great to have a full week. I felt the Spirit work with us both as a companionship and it really inspired the lessons and we feel that our investigadors felt it too.. so yay!! What more can you ask for?

Basically I am too lazy to talk explain stories and experiences cause its just the day to day kind of thing now. Is there anything yall would like to know about?

Some fun stuff I guess. Last monday night we had a family night with some investigadors and they gave us a huge clay mug filled with water from whats called a jarra, which is basically just this huge clay jug or pot thing. It supposedly is really delicious (or so they say) but the minute they left Hna. Walsh and I alone and went inside for a second (we were outside at a table), Hna. Walsh was like "this water is disgusting and we cant drink it anyways.. it makes us sick. I{ll distract them and you go dump it out" hahaha so I casually took the huge mug and walked over to the bushes.. keeping look out the whole time for them to come out.. and dumped the whole thing out. We put it back on the table and when the came out we just smiled that it was the greatest thing we had had. Haha just those typical foreign mission things you hear about so I thought yould all like to know it happens to me too.

Plus killing giant running cockroaches (sp?) is basically the daily wake up ritual and killing mosquitos in your hands.

Oh and thank goodness I am not up in the north right now cause its 113 degrees today in Rostia. Brings back memories from a year ago when I started my mission there.... hahaha. But I shouldnt jinx myself.. transfers are next week...

Quick quote from a talk by Brad Wilcox that talks about grace. It says "Fulfilling Christ´s requirements is like paying a morgage instead of rent or like making desposits in a savings account instead of paying off debt. You still have to hand it over every month, but it is for a totally different reason." Cool perspective, huh? Think about what you are doing with your "money". Investing it or just paying it cause it has to be done?

LOVE YOU ALL
Have a good week
