Mini MTC

Okay okay, I kind of dont have much time... BAH HOW FRUSTRATING. This week was really good though, actually!! I enjoy working with Hermana Abanto, my new companion! Although we arent perfect, shes awesome and we have already gotten a good rythmn down with our teaching. Its so nice. The work is still stressful, but I feel a lot less stressed out with her. I finally have a companion after 3 months that talks to me and laughs with me and.. whoo!!
I am really sorry to do this, but I am going to attach my experience in spanish because I already wrote it up to send to president and... well.. here ya go.. use google translate or something haha.

The gist is that Angel bore his testimony to us in a lesson this week IN HIS HOUSE.. yes.. .we entered his very very catholic house. He wants to serve a misison and when he told us he was smiling from ear to ear and couldnt stop. We fasted with him this Sunday so that he would have the courage to talk to his parents about being baptized and so that their hearts would be softened and allow him to do it. Every time we made eye contact on Sunday he would just smile.. he was GLOWING. On saturday there was a mini MTC activity for the youth and we took them out in companionships and taught some lessons. I attached a picture of Angel (on the left) with him companion. We havent heard the results of his conversation yet, which was supposed to happen on Sunday night, so you´ll be updated next week. I have so much faith that it can happen. This kid is so prepared.
Geronimo also took my place in the lesson with his family last night.. I pretended to be him and he pretended to me and gave the lesson about Joseph Smith (with a little guidance) haha. He wore his "future misisonary" nametag to church. I attached a picture of him too.
The whole Medrano family came to church on Sunday, Jorge in white shirt and tie and Juany in a new skirt. They looked GREAT. jorge is still in the works, and Jonathan too, but I think Jonathan is a lot closer than his dad in taking the steps of baptism.
Also an inactive family that we have been visiting since I got here in Sabinas came to church yesterday! The whole family!! We visited them earlier this week and the mom said she wanted to start coming to church again. It was so great to see them walk in. I felt like our visit earlier in the week was good timing to get them to come.
Well the work is going and there is MUCH to do. Please pray for the church in other parts of the world. Those who havent lived out of the states dont quite understand what the church is like in other places.. its here and its growing, but it needs prayers.

LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH
Also I was really embarassed last week when I realized that I wrote the wrong quote.. heres the one that really is about obedience.
President Thomas S. Monson
I know this church is true without a single doubt. I am grateful for this opportunity to share it.
