Querida Familia Roberts,

I cannot believe this will be the last time I will be writing you all here in my mission! (Next up... family group texts....), but before I get into all that, heres the update from the past week.

It wasnt the most normal week due to many extra activities, but it was super fun and we were able to... convivir... (yall are really gonna have to help me with the english).. spend time with lots of other missionaries. On Tuesday we had our final zone meeting where I was asked to give my testimony and then we took our final photos with the zone. Wednesday I had my final interview with President, Friday we had our mission christmas party where I was a judge for the talent show, and then we went to a big park in the center of Saltillo and showed the new christmas video, sang, and contacted everyone, and then Sunday was the First Presidency Christmas message.

I have been very fortunate as to not getting sick here in the mission. The worst that I have gone through was the cold a couple of times which I just pushed through and kept working. But what luck... this Saturday night I was sick the entire night and all day sunday hahaha. I think I ate something bad and I spent the night on the bathroom floor... I was super dramatic and thinking I was going to die and thought to myself "no wonder I havent been able to imagine life after the mission... CAUSE IM NOT GONNA HAVE ONE". Haaaaa no worries,I am fine now :-). I dont know how I managed it but, mind over matter, I still worked the entire day yesterday (2 investigators went to church!!) and only fell asleep for basically the entire christmas message there in the stake center hahah. #quepena

BUT more important than anything... CESAR GOT BAPTIZED ON THURSDAY!! He wrote me a letter to personally invite me and President gave me permission to attend. Everything was going great, except that the font was taking forever to fill and they eventually just had to start the service. There was enough to water, but Cesar is tall and has a bad leg.. so basically I have never prayed so hard in my life as when he was being baptized. All went well and he is happier than every. Hna.Murset called me a told me what he said on Sunday after his confirmation. He was just bouncing off walls with joy, as she described it, and he said after he was baptized he felt like a new person and that he felt something leave him when he was confirmed. He feels brand new and is SO happy.

I have loved more than anything being a full time missionary. It has not been easy and I have learned SO MUCH but this time and these experiences have been sacred. I feel honored to have been an insrument in Gods hands. I know this church is true and I will testify of my Savior SIEMPRE!!

Con mucho amor,
Hermana Roberts
