Cambios!

FAMILIA!! LE AMO!!

Alright, heres the update for this week... CAMBIOS!! I am staying here in Sabinas for another transfer with Hermana Abanto and.... Hermana Rebolledo is leaving! She is just going to the other area in Sabinas so I will still see her like.. almost every day.. but we wont be working together anymore. Its been a good run and I love her, definietly learned a lot, but I think it will be better if we are apart.... :).

I am pretty excited to work with Hermana Abanto! The dynamic has been different with her this week because we continued to work in a trio, but it wasnt a bad week. I cant think of anything exciting that really happened, if we are being honest. I pretty bland week. Hermana Abanto fell down the stairs at our apartment complex and bruised herself up pretty bad and then had some weird breathing problems the next day (I just dont understand sometimes haha) but it doesnt seem to be anything that is going to last. I just want to work, darn it.

We have set a baptismal date with Jonathan!! the 17th of this month. He is still feeling really unsure about a date, but he wants to be baptized and hes worked really hard with not smoking and stuff. He is such a good kid. This week when had a lesson with him where he gave the closing prayer, asking to feel good about the baptismal date because he wants to get baptized, and he cried. He didnt really say much, but I know he really wants it.

Jorge is pretty much the same. He is being really stubborn and I am kind of stumped as to what to do right now, but well figure it out. Its going to be the workings of the Spirit, but the other week we had a super awesome lesson with him where I was able to tell he felt the Spirit as a testified of baptism. It was one of those moments where I myself was learning as I spoke.

Oh!! We went on splits this week with Hermana Ferguson and I love her!! I have attached a few pictures. She is the one with brown hair, and Hermana Walsh is the other blondie. Us three are pretty good friends and I am jealous they are companions.

We have a new investigator named Galilea who is 18 and lives in Barroterran and I was able to really connect with her this week. Her mom was talking NON STOP in the lesson and we werent even able to teach. I pretty much stopped her and was like "I want to talk to Galilea" and turned to her and testified directly to her that the church is true and that this is what she needs in her life, etc. We were able to have another good lesson with her yesterday and I feel like I am the missionary that is able to connect with  her. I can just see it and it feels good to be an instrument in the Lords hands. I pray to be worthy of this calling.

Well, got to go, but heres a quote about obedience that I read this morning by President Monson. Sorry its in spanish. "No hay mayor propósito que éste escoger aceptar Su disciplina llegar a ser Sus discípulos y hacer Su obra a lo largo de nuestra vida. Ninguna otra coas, ninguna otra elección, podrá transformarnos en lo que Él nos puede convertir."

Cant say it better than the prophet!! I sure love and sustain him.

Love you all, have a great week!! Be the example that your relative, neighbor, friend, coworker, etc needs to see!

Con mucho amor,
Hermana Roberts
