List of Miracles

Familiaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,
Well this was a SUPER boring week. Like its pretty much even pointless to write yall haha cause nothing happened. I decided that we should add 2 new statistics to the list of numbers we report to the mission every week. The first would be "number of people you dropped" and "number of people you went to visit and weren´t home". If those were added, we would have had great numbers this week.
One awesome thing happened, that being that both Jonathan and Geronimo recieved the priesthood yesterday!! I feel pretty content with that :). The church needs more priesthood here and so.. yep. Jonathan is so awesome. Gonna miss him.
I was feeling a little bummed/bored with this week (and honestly... I am looking forward to transfers in 3 weeks because I am worn out with Sabinas after almost 6 months) so this morning in my study I made a list of the miracles that I have seen in my mission to help me be more grateful.
1. Although I still have lots to learn, I now fully communicate in Spanish. I understand and even though its still ridiculously hard sometimes, I am able to do my job without feeling 100% exhausted due to the language.
2. I am a week away from completing 8 months in my mission.. thats a miracle, right?
3. Some personal weeknesses that I have already improved on.. I take criticism like 80% better than I used to. That also includes I am every so slightly less prideful, but still got a lot ways to go with that.
4. Become more converted to the Lord, although its much different than I expected. I feel like my mission converstion is a different type of conversion, because I was already strong in my beliefs and faith.. (I mean, I did come on a misison in the first place), but this conversion that I am leraning is something different.
5. 4 people I have taught have been baptized, 3 of which have recieved the priesthood, and 2 of those being canidates for missions.
6. Brought a full family unto Christ and have seen COUNTLESS changes in them. Almost all have been baptized, but all have changed their lives and recieved blessings for them. For example, Juany is such an amazing example to me. I catch her singing hymns while cleaning the kitchen (we were helping Geronimo start "Duty to God") and she was like "I almost have the whole verse memorized!". She stopped drinking coffee cold turkey when she learned about the Word of Wisdom. Jonathan stopped smoking and decided for himself to change his life and be baptized. Jorge stopped working on Sundays and kepts the sabbath day holy. Geronimo is planning on serving a mission.
7. I survived being with a difficult companion for 3  months.
8. I have become accustomed to a different culture than mine.
9. An inactive family that we have visited for MONTHS has come to church for 3 weeks straight.
10. A 16 year old boy has become converted to the gospel, and although cannot yet make covenants, lives the commandments and is preparing to serve a misison.
and countless other little things.

This list helped me be grateful despite a boring and rough week due to very little work.
Have a great week everyone! I love you so much!! Give the  missionaries references :).
Con mucho amor,
Hermana Roberts
