Ramos Arizpe

HOLA HOLA I am now in my new area!!! Manantiales in Ramos Arizpe and lets just start of by saying I LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. I love everything about my new area and my companion and everything. I seriously am so content.  First the area... my area is actually really small and only consists of a few colonies, but its super cute and the streets are windy and close together and there are a fair amount of people outside. There are a bunch of little broken down parks and walls full of grafitti and its just super cute. I really love it. Right now I am trying to steal a section of the Elder´s area to make ours bigger and I dont think they are all that stoked about it, but the Bishop seems to be on our side cause he can see we are working hard and so.... yeah. I am really close to Saltillo because Ramos Arizpe is just outside of it and I dont know... its just feels super awesome. Its a completely different feel and environment from what it was up in the north and I rea...

Cambios!

Family!! This really will be short this week and I say that because Mark commented I always say that and still write super long letters... haha Well in the way of this week, we have had several inactive families come back to church that we have been working with and so that was super great!! We havent had new investigators for a while, but at least we are still seeing fruits of our labors.  I am leaving Sabinas!! My new area is Manantiales in a city called Ramos Arizpe! It is just outside of Saltillo, and I will be opening the area, which means that both my companion and myself are new in the area. I am nervous about that, but it will be a fresh start and so thats good!! We will be the first sister missionaries there in over a year. They closed the area to sisters a while back, but this transfer are opening it up. So we will see whats in store for us!  My new companion is Hermana Tah and I dont really know anything about her.. only that she arrive...

Splits and Sleep Talking

Fam fam bam bam, Alright this is going to be short sorry and I didnt even get to reply personally to mom and dads letters.. sorry.. but its been a pretty good week I guess. Honestly nothing really to report. I have had some disappointments this week, but nothing really that I can complain about at this moment cause it just happens, you know.  2 things I will comment on is that the inactive family that I have been teaching are now active and the dad, after receving the priesthood last week, baptized his son yesterday. It was a neet experience and the missionary that originally taught the family sent a video to congratulate them and it was really special. Its nice to know that I am helping them find the gospel again. they are really content and the Mom is asking for us to teach certain themes in our lessons. Shes like "when you come this week i want you to teach us about fasting". Its really sweet. This week i helped her hand wash their clothes on the ...

Another slow week

Hoooooollllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, Well still a slow week considering we still dont really have too many new people to teach, but it was still a good week! We are making some progress and have found one lady with some real potential!! Other than that, we are just searching and contacting references and walking a ton. They should rearrange the pioneer childrens song that goes "they walked and walked and walked and walked" to be about missionaries. We did have zone conference this week though which was great! I love when President comes becuase hes so inspirational. My companion and I were also asked to give some training too so that was pretty cool! One thing that President talked about that I want to share with yall is about when Peter walked on water and then sank due to fear. We had to think about it first... what was Peters plan? Do you think he was PLANNING on walking on the water to meet Christ? more likely, he was probably planning on swimming to h...
